Webshop

An online shop that sells from the catalogue you already keep: your articles, your prices, your stock — and every order lands in Vinosoft as a real order, ready to pick.

One catalogue, two counters

A web shop bolted onto a separate platform means two catalogues, two stock figures and a nightly export that goes wrong at the worst moment. The shop in Vinosoft is the same catalogue seen from outside. Choose which articles appear, give them shop text and images, and the stock they draw on is the stock in your cellar. Sell the last case in the tasting room and the shop knows.

Orders arrive as order confirmations in the ordinary order processing, so they are picked, delivered and invoiced through the same workflow as a telephone order — and the stock is updated automatically as they go.

What the shop gives you

  • A cloud-based, fully functional shop on the Microsoft Azure platform, included in the Enterprise Edition
  • Your own domain, or a free vinosoft.shop address
  • Themes you can preview and customise, with navigation, banners, news, static pages and downloadable files
  • Collections and categories to sort the range the way your customers browse it
  • Coupons: a fixed amount or a percentage, with expiry, minimum order value and category conditions
  • Product ratings and comments, with review invitations sent to customers who bought
  • Customer accounts, loyalty cards and point balances
  • Checkout branding, T&C acceptance, privacy policy links and the newsletter opt-in
  • A developer API with OAuth clients and access tokens for anything you want to connect yourself

Cookie banners are mandatory for a Swiss online shop, so the cookie consent manager is available as a small monthly add-on rather than a project of its own.

Getting paid the Swiss way

Customers pay how they expect to. TWINT, cards and the PostFinance Card run through PostFinance Checkout or Payrexx; PayPal covers wallet and express checkout; Saferpay and wallee are available for the shops that need them. Purchase on account with the QR payment slip enclosed, prepayment and cash cost you no transaction fee at all. Whichever route the money takes, the payment is reconciled and posted as a document in your books — there is no step in between.

Watching it work

Checkout sessions show which carts were abandoned and are worth following up. Transactions show what each provider actually captured. Support requests from the shop's contact form come into the same system, so an unanswered customer is visible rather than lost.
