Why Vinosoft exists

Andy Baumgartner knows the wine business from the inside: in the early 2000s he ran a wine business of his own. Vintages, storage locations, special prices for restaurants and private customers, the Swiss wine trade inspection – all of it was part of the job. He couldn't find software that actually fit those processes. General accounting and shop systems knew nothing about vintages or a cellar book.

Vinosoft grew out of that gap: a platform built for the wine trade from day one. Wine businesses have worked with it since 2015 – from the quote through stock and invoicing to the webshop and the till.

Who we are

SparkDynamic GmbH is a Swiss software company based in Rüti in the Zurich Oberland, founded in 2014 and led by Andy Baumgartner. Besides our own products, we distribute software from more than 1,000 vendors through resellers and system integrators. Vinosoft is our product for the wine trade.

What we build

• Vinosoft – the back office for wineries, wine merchants and importers: addresses, quotes, orders, stock, invoices and accounting.
• Vinosoft Shop – the webshop, connected directly to your stock and prices.
• Vinosoft POS – the till app for iPhone and iPad, for the farm shop and tastings.

• Your data stays in the EU. Vinosoft runs in an EU region of Microsoft Azure.
