Manage shop articles
Choose which catalog articles appear in your online shop and set up their shop-specific content and images.
Shop articles control which articles from your catalog show up in your online shop, and how they look to customers there. Each shop article links back to a catalog article and adds shop-only settings: publishing, localized descriptions, images, downloads, and more.
Open the Articles list
Go to Shop → Articles to see every article that has shop settings.
- The search box filters by name as you type.
- The All / Published / Not published radio buttons filter the list by publishing status.
- Each row shows the article's name, description, and manufacturer.
Add a new shop article
- On Shop → Articles, click Create new.
- Fill in the article's shop details (see below).
- Click Save.
Publish and control availability
Open a shop article (Edit) to reach its Info tab, where you'll find:
- Published — controls whether the article shows up in the shop at all.
- Available — controls whether customers can currently order it.
- Name and Alias — the shop-facing name and its URL-friendly slug.
- Flag — an optional shop article flag (e.g. a badge like "New" or "Sale"), picked from a dropdown.
Add localized shop content
Still on the Info tab, use the Language dropdown to switch between your configured languages. For each language you can set:
- Name, Short description, and a full Description (rich text editor with formatting, links, and images).
- Meta title, Meta description, and Meta keywords for the article's shop page.
If the article has variants, they're listed at the bottom of the Info tab; open a variant from there to jump to its own article record.
Manage shop images and downloads
Open the Downloads tab from a shop article to manage its files:
- Upload a file, give it a Name and Order, and choose its Type — use the Logo type for the article's shop image; other types are offered to customers as downloadable files (e.g. spec sheets or certificates).
- Logo-type files are shown as an image preview; other files show a Download link.
- Use Delete on any file to remove it.
Add an embedded video
Open the Links tab to paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL. Once saved, the video is embedded and shown on the tab and on the article's shop page.
Manage custom fields
Open the CustomFields tab to fill in any custom fields configured for shop articles. Each field can hold one or more text entries — use Add to add another entry to a field, or Delete to remove one.
