Manage recipient groups

Create groups of newsletter recipients so you can target each send at the right audience, and review who belongs to each group.

A group is a named list of recipients. When you send a newsletter you choose one group, and Vinosoft delivers the email to every subscribed recipient in it. Groups let you target the right audience instead of always emailing everyone.

Open the Groups list

Go to Newsletters → Groups to see all your recipient groups.

Create a group

  1. On the Groups list, click Create new.
  2. Enter a Name for the group.
  3. Click Save.

Add recipients to a group

You assign recipients to groups from the recipient, not from the group. Open a recipient under Newsletters → Recipients, tick the groups they belong to, and save. See Manage newsletter recipients for the full flow. You can also assign groups in bulk when you import recipients.

Review a group's recipients

Open a group with Edit to change its name and to see the recipients it contains, listed with their last name, first name, email, created date, and unsubscribe date. This is a quick way to confirm who a send will actually reach.

Delete a group

Use the row actions on the Groups list to delete a group you no longer need.

Once your groups are ready, target a send at one of them from Create and send a newsletter.
