Deleted items

The recycle bin for Vinosoft — browse records you have deleted, by type, and restore any you removed by mistake.

Deleted items is the recycle bin for Vinosoft. When you delete a record in most areas of the system, it isn't erased straight away — it's moved here, where you can find it again and put it back if you deleted it by mistake.

Open Deleted items

Go to Configuration → Deleted items. At the top of the screen there is an entity type selector that chooses which kind of deleted record you're looking at.

Deleted items covers a wide range of records, including:

  • Addresses — customer, supplier, and licensee addresses.
  • Articles and related data — articles, article categories, manufacturers, and packs.
  • Sales documents — quotes, order confirmations, delivery notes, invoices, creditors, and purchase orders.
  • Shop records — shop articles, coupons, banners, shop users, news, static pages, and payment types.
  • Newsletters — newsletters, recipients, and groups.
  • Settings — currencies, countries, delivery times, shipping methods, terms of payment, bank finance accounts, and more.

Pick a type from the selector and the list refreshes to show the deleted records of that type.

Read the list

For each deleted record the list shows a description and additional description to identify it, along with the date it was deleted. Use these to confirm you've found the right item before restoring it.

Restore a record

Find the record in the list and select the restore action on its row. Vinosoft puts the record back into its original area, and it reappears in the normal lists there. The list here refreshes so the restored item drops out of the recycle bin.
