User management
Invite people to your account, track pending invitations, and control what each user can do with roles and permissions.
Everything about the people who use your Vinosoft account lives on one page: Configuration → General → Management.
From here you:
- Invite a user — send someone an email invitation instead of creating a login for them. See Invite a user.
- Follow up on invitations — resend, copy the link, or withdraw an invitation that hasn't been accepted yet. See Track pending invitations.
- Edit or remove a user — change a user's details, roles, and language, or take away their access. See Edit or remove a user.
- Control what people can do — build roles out of allow and deny permissions and assign them. See Roles and permissions.
If you're the person who received an invitation, go to Accept an invitation instead.
Invitations replaced "create user"
Vinosoft no longer lets an administrator create a user and type a password on their behalf. You send an invitation and the person sets their own password when they accept it.
This matters because a Vinosoft login is not tied to a single account — the same person can work in several accounts with one login. Anyone who could set that password could also sign in as that person everywhere else. With invitations, the password only ever exists between the user and Vinosoft.
Invite a user
Send an email invitation with the roles and details you choose — the person sets their own password when they accept.
Track pending invitations
See who has been invited but hasn't joined yet, and resend, copy or revoke their invitation.
Accept an invitation
You've been invited to a Vinosoft account — here's what the link does and how to set your password.
Edit or remove a user
Change a user's details, roles and language, send them a password reset, or take away their access.
Roles and permissions
Build roles out of allow and deny permissions, then assign them to users and invitations.
