Edit or remove a user

Change a user's details, roles and language, send them a password reset, or take away their access.

The users grid on Configuration → General → Management lists everyone with access to the account, with their Full name, Email, Roles and Last login.

url: configuration/management crop: h2, .button-group, #grid The users grid with the Owner row at the top carrying an "Owner" badge, and edit and delete icons on the other rows.

The Owner row

The person who registered the account appears at the top with an Owner badge instead of the edit and delete icons. The owner always has full access and can't be edited or removed from this page — that's deliberate, so an account can never be left without an administrator.

Edit a user

  1. Click the edit icon on the user's row.
  2. Change what you need: First name, Last name, Contraction, the Subverkaufer fields, Phone number, Language, Roles, and Group (Legacy).
  3. Untick Active to suspend the user without removing them. (The checkbox only appears here — someone who accepts an invitation always starts active.)
  4. Click Save.

Send a password reset

You can't set or view another person's password. What you can do is send them the standard reset email:

  1. Open the user with the edit icon.
  2. Scroll to Send password reset email.
  3. Click the button. You'll see A password reset email has been sent to this user.

The reset link goes only to that user's inbox, so the new password stays between them and Vinosoft.

Remove a user

Click the delete icon on the user's row. Their access to this account is removed and the seat is freed for someone else.

Removing a user doesn't delete the work they did — their documents and history stay. Customers that were assigned to them as a seller are simply left without one, so reassign those afterwards.
