A major Vinosoft update, packed with what you asked for

We've spent the last year improving Vinosoft – and the result is our biggest release yet. Under the hood, the platform now runs on the latest .NET, so the whole app is noticeably faster and more responsive. But you don't care about plumbing; you care about what it lets you do. So here's what's actually new.

An AI assistant that does the paperwork for you

Meet your new in-app assistant. Just tell it what you need in plain language – "Create an invoice for Meier AG for 12 bottles of the 2021 Pinot" – and it drafts the document for you. It works across quotes, order confirmations, invoices, credit notes, delivery notes, and purchase orders.

• It looks up your customers and articles and fills in prices automatically.
• Ask it to email a document or open the PDF right from the chat.
• Your whole conversation history is kept in a sidebar, so you can pick up where you left off.

For administrators, every conversation is auditable, with per-month cost and usage reporting and a prepaid credit balance so AI spend is always predictable.

Find anything, instantly

There's now a single search bar at the top of the app. Type a customer name, an invoice number, a quote, an order confirmation, a purchase order or an article – and jump straight to it. Results show the amount and status at a glance, and everyone only sees what they're allowed to.

A storefront that sells better

You can now opt in to a brand-new checkout experience – a customizable, Shopify-like checkout you control. It's an option, so you upgrade whenever you're ready:

• A redesigned, single-page checkout – clean, fast, and mobile-friendly.
• Make it yours: brand the checkout with your logo, colours, typography and trust messaging, with a live preview.
• Grow your list: newsletter opt-in and terms/privacy acceptance built into checkout.
• Swiss age verification: sell age-restricted products in full compliance with Swiss age requirements – customers verify with an ID scan, and you decide which products (or all of them) require it.

Behind the scenes you also get your own custom domain with guided DNS setup, a theme editor, and a drag-and-drop navigation menu builder – no developer required.

Smart Collections: curate your catalogue automatically

Collections are how you group products into shoppable categories – and they just got much more powerful. Instead of adding every product by hand, you can now create Smart Collections that fill themselves based on rules you set:

• Match products by tag, manufacturer, price range, or category – or combine them.
• New products that match are added automatically; ones that no longer fit drop out on their own.
• Pages stay fast even with large catalogues, and product counts are always up to date.

Every collection page is also more capable: add a description and SEO details, upload a cover image, choose the sort order (including by your own custom fields), pick a page template, paginate long lists, and publish or unpublish with a click.

And because customers increasingly discover shops through Google and AI assistants, every storefront now ships with rich structured data, clean sitemaps, and machine-readable content so your products are found – wherever people are searching.

Build on top of Vinosoft

Developers can now integrate directly with a full, documented REST API – storefront, admin, and customer-account access, with OpenAPI/Swagger docs, OAuth, and secure tokens.

A brand-new POS app for iPad

We've released a completely new native iOS point-of-sale app – Vinosoft POS Lite – to replace the old one. It's faster, easier to use, and available now on the App Store. Take payments with SumUp and Twint, set per-device preferences, and get up and running in minutes.

Loyalty, custom fields, and more

• Loyalty program: issue loyalty cards, track balances, and let customers earn and redeem points at the POS and on invoices – with barcodes, batch issuance, and Excel export.
• Custom fields: add your own fields (text, numbers, dropdowns) to products and variants, and surface them right in your shop.
• Documents: editable open credit notes, multi-recipient email, on-screen delivery-note signatures, and automatically recurring invoices.

Polished, secure, and multilingual

Two-factor authentication, finer-grained permissions, and much better German, French, and Italian localization round out the release.

Convenient and Flexible Credit Card Payments

You asked - we listened. From now on, you can conveniently pay your invoices by credit card.

Payments are securely processed by Stripe. Simply add your credit card details and choose between monthly or annual billing.
